Sick Chants

I saw a picture of Norrie McCathie on Twitter, and it got me thinking about some of the songs that used to get sang about him, like where’s McCathie gone, left his gas fire on.

So what’s everyone’s favourite/ worst chants they’ve heard from any fans? I’d also include borderline humorous ones that you’d probably get the jail for now, like Junior’s aff the boat.

The scum had a few about Allan McGraw in the 90’s.

I remember McGraw, McGraw, his arse is ****ing raw, he’s got no legs, and wheel, wheel, wheelchair army.

And you'll never walk again was another sick one aimed at McGraw.

Along with we've got Ludo and McGraw's shite at judo.

"CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

It’s been a while since I’ve heard the “packet of sweets and a cheeky wee smile” chant.

I can also remember many instances of stuff that would now be deemed unacceptable on the grounds of sexism etc(get your t1ts out for the lads etc if maybe the physio or one of the St. John’s ambulance volunteers happened to be an attractive young lady). I also remember one game at firhill in the early 90s and they ran out of pies. At some point during the second half one of the lassies who worked in the pie stall went over to get more from the main stand. As she came back around the pitch over to the stand we were in, she was subjected to a torrent of comments and chants about her pie etc. Pretty funny at the time right enough

Wasn't ever deemed anything else apart from by crowds of middle-aged men humiliating some lassie, to be honest.

The Alan McGraw's s***e a judo one was a good yin, in fairness to that mob.

Not particularly "sick" but I always liked the "there's only 2 andy gorams" chant we sang up at ibrox in the cup.

Maybe that is seen as sick these days, what with all the mental health awareness stuff going on.

I found it pretty funny at the time tho.

Its not sick but I love the naked hatred of 'You're a c**t X, you're a c**t'. Remember singing it against Dundee Utd's young goalie Lewis last year and could tell it really got to him.

For other clubs, David Murray was the butt of many cruel songs.
