Anyone managed to get beyond this step? I see no blocks. I've also got no mouse but that's another matter.

I'll message Brendan and ask for help but just curious.

Price for this year's season ticket is excellent, by the way.

Is Brendan the scouse gimp?

I can't help but think if these bargain season ticket prices are somehow tied into us having a reduced wage bill next season i.e. don't get your hopes up for the signings we're going to make. Are we going to be going with a load of boys that cost buttons?

Obviously a great deal if you're going to make the majority of games, but I wouldn't be investing until I had some idea of what I was actually paying for.  I went to 5/6 home games last season (usually go to 15/16), as nothing about Morton was attracting me to games... plenty of others feel the same.

Don't think cheap season tickets will do much to attract back lapsed supporters... only good signings will do that.

Well there's already been a few that have said they'll get them when so that theory is wrong.

Lapsed supporters going back on the strength of saving a few quid? Hmm.. ok.  As I said, it wouldn't tempt me back...

I really hope to be going into this season full of enthusiasm, having seen Morton make a few impressive signings, and getting their act together off the pitch too. Having cut short a holiday to head to Berwick at the start of last season, by the middle of September I had pretty much given up on Morton for the season!

Yeah, at about £11 a game there will be people who buy one that normally wouldn't or haven't for a while.

^^^ word salad

The fact that an early bird offer at a significantly reduced price is standard practice in football and many other leisure events (e.g. music festivals) must have somehow escaped the mind of a great polymath like yourself.

Don't think cheap season tickets will do much to attract back lapsed supporters... only good signings will do that.

Except that the point of an early bird deal isn't to attract either 'lapsed supporters' to commit to eighteen games a season nor to pander to berks like yourself who throw a tantrum every June when the club hasn't signed Xavi yet to anchor its midfield. Its purpose is to get regulars to commit to buying a season ticket and doing so up front - providing a guaranteed source of income for the club instead of relying on fluctuating gate receipts as the season goes on. It also encourages those who have bought them to attend as many games as possible instead of picking and choosing. As GMFC has never had more than a derisory number of ST holders - there really was no point in buying one until recently - providing a big financial incentive to change this long-established behaviour is sound business practice.

So you've made a complete and utter horse's arse of yourself yet again. You must feel so proud.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

I'm the latter. Not very convinced about the statement at all but I still use Morton as a means of socialising so the price has certainly tempted me to buy a season ticket after paying at the gate the past two seasons.

I don't think Morton would care if you fucked off indefinitely tbh.

Agreed. All things I wanted to see to catch my attention. Will most likely be renewing now.

I've not bought one for years either since I normally miss a few games but will be getting on this season.

Yep. Same here. Have to take the statement on face value which is quite encouraging. Crawford appears to deal with a number of fans concerns. The early bird price is excellent. Asking fans to support the club moving forward and a far few on here seem to be doing so.

I.am actually quite positive about us on the basis of what has been said.

It has been positive to see them quickly deal with negativity/rumours with quick updates, hope to see that continue.

Obviously, they are only good until their first major cock up but so far so good. The appointment could be a huge moment either way for the positivity continuing or being instantly undone.

The pricing and the words are positive at this time. I won't be back until I see a sign that we will have a team to compete, as well as a sign of ambition.A boys team won't tempt me back. I really hope to get back to home games again.

You really hope to get back to home games soon. It’s not fucking hard.
