Alibi
Any recommendations for a good Italian restaurant in Greenock for me and some Italian pals? TONofmemories
Arlechino, or there's another new place where Aldo's (rip) was. Edit, if your pals are Italian I would take them to the former. It's run by an Italian family. TIME FOR CHANGE!
Alibi
Coming up for the QoS game so need to eat beforehand. QED vaguely on topic. Frankie Boyled
Does it have to strictly be Greenock? Me and the ole ball and chain have decided after a few visits that Amaretto In Bridge of Weir is our favourite Italian eatery... good food, reasonably priced
so72
Tonitos or whatever it is called. Arleccino's is good also
LargsTON
Get a pizza and sit down the splash. Fire on a bit of Pavarotti. Sorted. "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

Alan_Partridge_Ton
Toninos is excellent, if a little limited. The pizza is great but it’s just pizza at the end of the day. The meat board starter is brilliant. They have a limited wine list but if you ask to see their premium wines they had a decent Barolo last time I was in. Arleccino is OK. Stuck in the 70s somewhat and haven’t changed their menu in a generation. The new place, La Scarpetta, is better but I would say overall Toninos gets the Peartree seal of approval. Alan_Partridge_Ton
Been wanting to try this La Scarpetta. It’s decent. One of the advantages it has over Toninos is it’s much more spacious. Wine list is alright too.

At any one time I have nine bottles of wine in my house. AWMSC

Me and the ole ball and chain have decided after a few visits that Amaretto In Bridge of Weir is our favourite Italian eatery... good food, reasonably priced It's still in an absolutely pointless cowp like Bridge of Weir though. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
capitanus
Do your Italian friends eat anything other than Italian food? Just a thought, as they may like other types of food or be interested in sampling some of the local cuisine. *insert signature here*
