Pedrodelawasp
So, Usain Bolt has given up on his hopes of becoming a pro footballer. Could have come to Greenock to learn the ropes under the tutelage of the incoming Marlon Harewood, providing the pace working off Marlon’s hold-up play. No doubt could have worked us a couple of sponsorship deals with his mates at Puma and Virgin Media. Missing a trick!
Mr.Blue
Good riddance to scully. He was pish anyway. rex manning
He was much of a muchness really. Slightly better at getting off his line then Gaston but probably not as good a shot stopper. As others have pointed out though wasting a wage on competition for Gaston was daft. We shouldn't have tried to get one 'good' keeper instead (Gaston is fine), but we should have used the wage elsewhere where there were / are more glaring deficiencies in the squad. I want a pretentious signature too.
so72
JJ said we would sign people this week; squad looks threadbare for Saturday - surely a couple announcements today or tomorrow? Anyone able to go sit in the carpark?

Scott
We'll no doubt sign this unheard of GK and that will be it. Laughing at JJ's comments about not having the pace in the squad to breakdown teams. Ross McLean wasn't the best winger we'll ever see but he was more than capable - barely given a chance under JJ. Scott
Todorov to be announced shortly along with a former English Premier League midfielder. Is the EPL midfielder anyone we would have heard of? If its even true midfield is the last place we need signings.

TheGoon
So, IF the window shits and we’ve only signed Dykes and this goalie, who gets the blame? JJ, board or collective?
EanieMeany
I can't really imagine any player who has seen anything of us under Johansson wanting to come unless he didn't have any other options, to be honest. Little point in a forward coming to join a team that plays 5 at the back against East Fife. AWMSC
Scott
So, IF the window s***s and we’ve only signed Dykes and this goalie, who gets the blame? JJ, board or collective? Questions must be answered by all if that does happen. A 3 year plan ditched after 6 months, taking the majority of the support for mugs in the process by encouraging season ticket sales. They'll soon get a fright when no one bothers with one next season.

SpoonTon
So, IF the window s***s and we’ve only signed Dykes and this goalie, who gets the blame? JJ, board or collective? If the window does what?! Collective. The board aspect might be the most worrying part, but the manager at least has to get something done (especially considering the way in which he ripped into the quality of the squad). We're short on wide options, we're short on quality up front, and we're lumbered with poor options at the back. It only takes two or three decent enough signings to tip the balance and get us going again (if JJ can get them organised) but we need at least something to happen.
