  1. That was a tough watch. Airdrie simply the better team and will no doubt clinch 4th. French and Power were the standout pish performers but most were poor. O'connor must be raging not being in the team. Garritys goal summed up our day. We need a response on Tuesday or we will be looking over our shoulder. Decent crowd let down badly.
  2. 50mph winds expected tomorrow. Our "direct" style might need to be amended slightly depending on how ridiculous it is.
  3. Quite enjoy playing QP, they can't get near us, 5 wins and 3 draws in last 8 games with Cal Ferrie at the wheel, the gift that keeps on giving. They can stay for me. Inverness to go down and never been seen at this level again!
  4. I'm hoping Raith are out of the promotion race by the time we play them( remember how shite we were once we knew the league challenge was over in 2013) Arbroath are relegated, their players have chucked it and are thinking about their summer holidays and Inverness are resigned to 9th on the last day so play kids to keep their first team fresh for their 1st playoff game. Easy 9 points right there for the last 3 games!
  5. Airdrie currently 2 up at Arbroath.
  6. Big Broadfoot didn't seem to impressed with it either!
  7. Dougie said before the Dunfermline game that Wilson, Oakley and Quitongo were all back on the training pitch so he might be back in contention soon. Would be a massive boost to have him back for the run in.
  8. Aye felt someone had to take the boy down and take a yellow. If that happens we get to ET for me. I understand Dougie not wanting to change the shape as it was working well but we were crying out for some fresh legs towards the end and looked so tired, maybe he would have changed it had we held on for the 90. Not to be and just need to hope we kick on again and finish strong. Was thinking on the drive home, we've probably secured around 750k of unexpected revenue in the last 14 months from Rangers and Celtic away and this cup run. Its been a very successful period for us and hopefully we can build on it.
  9. The team pretty much picks itself if Oakley is fit too...
  10. There's still over 1100 Sinclair St tickets left, will be doing very well if we shift even half of them.
  11. Aye shockingly bad but got away with it due to the incompetence of the ref. I get why the rule is there, but it's existence allows it to be exploited and ref's need to look out for it more and be stronger, rather than just blow the whistle anytime someone goes down.Yesterday is a fine example of it, blatant cheating! I'm sure he dived in the box for a pen in the second half too. Ref also had no idea on our goal and clearly reacted to the Inverness players.
  12. If that is the case, brilliant. Just remember someone mentioned it after Motherwell game.
  13. Massive blow no doubt, hopefully its just weeks.Thankfully we do have decent options to fill in like they did on Tuesday. I'd prefer Muirhead through middle with 2 of Garrity, Quitongo, Bearne and McGrattan on wings. Felt we had a real chance of giving Hearts a scare but having those players out( and Strapp who I think is suspended) probably means we don't.
  14. Lloyd Wilson, fcuk me, he's awful. See big Dunc referenced the old "style of play" various times in his pre match, love it! They sound screwed with injuries, need to win this and send them closer to the seaside.
  15. You could offer a new contract with a clause saying the player gets a wage increase should we get promoted. I don't blame a single player for holding out until the Summer. If Oakley and Strapp continue the form they have shown, there's going to be much bigger clubs than us interested in them and will most likely leave. ( nuts to think Strapp still hasn't lost a game since his return) Oakley has had so much good press recently, most managers outside the top 4 or 5 will be looking at him as a potential option for next year. Crawford, Blues, Muirhead not quite in the Oakley/Strapp bracket of interest but makes sense for them to keep their options open.
