Scotland - World Cup 2018

We're going to struggle in subsequent games, I reckon, looking lightweight in Central midfield and generally easily bullied, which is unusual for a Scotland team. Nonetheless we at least broke them down.

His time was up when he played Craig Forsyth in Dublin.

Ritchie, Martin and Forrest are absolutely dreadful. I actually kinda sympathise with Martin a bit, he does his best but he's just so woefully bad; playing him twice in a row is enough on its own for a manager to lose his job.

I was hopeful about Strachan and the style of football he wanted to play but I must confess there have been too many rank performances against very ordinary opposition and he doesn't seem to have an answer.

Last night was dreadful to watch and even although we don't have much quality we should at least be able to orgnise ourselves, maintain possession and put the opposition under some real pressure at home.

Not much heart, skill or ideas on the park or in the dugout and no signs that the embarrassment is about to stop.

I think we're one good center back away from the best team in 15 years (admittedly this isn't saying much.) Walter Smith may be a terrible person but give him yesterday's squad and he'd easily take us to 2nd place.
