The linked article to that story sheds some light on the situation:

It has been very messy. Brian Wake, the newly-appointed coach, has found himself in one ring corner. He has done what he is here, from the point of view, namely to win football matches. He has used the players he considered best suited to winning the matches. Nothing strange.

In the second ring corner, the leaders of IFK Luleå's football academy have found. The leaders have received information for the season that IFK Luleå will bet on own. On own created players who have been instructed according to any kind of IFK model.

So what we can clearly see here are youth academy snakes getting upset because plucky Johan Johannson from the northern Swedish version of Braeside didn't have a role in Wake's divine plan to win the league because the latter is the actual point of a professional football club. And they'll be punished for this lack of support with enduring, miserable, failure.

Rumours currently link this coaching prodigy to one of the vacant positions at Ostersunds, who lost their first team staff to Swansea a few weeks ago. I say Bring Him Home instead.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

I do love how the article claims he turned down Livingston and St Mirren to sign for Thistle when it clearly states he waited around for a few weeks and no Premiership offer was incoming and he wouldn't wait any longer.

Then says Thistle was his first choice, when clearly the non-existent Premiership offers were undoubtedly his first choice.

Don't mistake first choice for only choice Tam.

Good to see he has forgotten all about Duffy and is not firmly an Archibald boy, bigging up the miracles he has worked.

Saying he wanted to leave when he spend much of the season as captain leaves a bit of a bad taste for me. As did telling the press he was leaving before Duffy and being dropped on the last game because of it.

I like the fact he mentions a club would have to pay. He knows himself he is not that good.

He handled himself poorly telling the press before the last game.

Personally, I found it frustrating watching him last season as he would make errors and blame everyone around him.

Fair enough players will want to leave but is coming across a bit of an arrogant tosser.

He should have put a transfer request in last season if he knew he wanted to leave. Wasn't long ago he was posting that he was 'delighted' to sign a two year deal.

Even more reason to wish Partick misfortune and hope they Duffy their season.

I've a feeling Duffy will be attempting to Duffy their season come the turn of the year.

Aye he’s made a bit of an arse of that interview. Best to say nothing at all sometimes Tam, especially when at times his mind was wandering when not being able to mark opponents properly.

Hopefully it’s a long hard season of him shouting at team mates and pointing at everyone other than himself.

Bit of a cheek for him to call a move to a fellow championship team a 'definite progression'. He was alright in the air but prone to a few howlers.

He's now standing in the way of Morton's title win. Commence hounding

His performances last season were poor, his on-field conduct was scandalous and he went about his exit in the worst possible way.

He's a snake and shall be treated as such. Let the hounding commence.
