Our own squad isn't exactly settled either, and we've had rotten early cup games for years. No argument that Dumbarton are below our level, but that didn't stop them in the League Cup last time.

It needs to be couched with the fact that Dumbarton are just historic, all-time levels of fail out there, but it’s true that previous Morton teams would still be playing the ball around their own half right now at 0-0 and hoping for a breakthrough. Direct and attacking football quickly exposes a team’s shortcomings, which is why Alan Moore’s sides regularly ran up cricket scores against cup diddies.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Think this might be the worst team I've seen at cappielow since Forfar in the Mcinally 9-0 game.

Really enjoyable and professional job though from the players. They seem to have a bit of killer instinct about them which is night and day from last season.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

That game was 9-1, not 9-0. I remember Greacen being absolutely raging at their goal.
