TRVMP
Terrible draw; one that also sums up the laughable nature of the SFL. We are now due to play Ayr five times this season. With the League and Scottish cups still to come, it could be as many as seven times, and that's without even thinking about replays - or the play-offs! Plus, above all, we'll probably lose
MerrTon
Not a bad draw. I'd have been concerned if it was down at Ayr but I'm sure we can take them at Cappielow.
ThornTON
Awful draw! Will we ever get a decent draw in this competition?
Ton_Cat
a no they have a great record against in recent years. but honestly dont see them being a threat. there team is full of ex juniors( not even top level juniors) just bounce if you hate the scum, just bounce if you hate the scum
AyrAndy
Now we get to scud you in the cup as well as the league . TBH not particularly chuffed by the draw would have prefferd East Stirling at home but never mind come Aug 11th you can concentrate on the league after Maisano hits a last minute winner. The Naitch
Ayr had a few ex-juniors in their team last season, and they still managed to beat us. This is probably the most awkward tie we could have asked for. It does mean that 4 of our first 5 games are at home, so it at least gives us the chance to get some early momentum going. BubbaTON
ffs. to the Ayr fan who said he would rather have had East Stirling. Must be a simliar draw the amount of points you have taken off us in recent years.
AyrshireTon
Crap draw and you just no that Masiano is gonna play a big part in this game. 4125[/snapback] He will probably score, or get sent off. LargsTon will do his best to put him off. Reckon our best chance is penalties. If it was at Somerset I'd be saying we were already out. AT McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.
