It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Manager sends in a self assessment return with £50k TV/journalism income and a beneficial loan charge of £5k under part 3 Chapter 7 ITEPA 2003. All taxable at lower rate. Post Murray he now has Eranings of £100k. There is an error in his return. Quite apart from whether he gets done for the PAYE and NICs on the managers salary ( and I think he can and don't give a shit what you think because you clearly have no idea) the TV income should have have been taxed at higher rate so there will be a tax bill, interest and a penalty.
