Maybe he is doing his job and JJ not listening?

Think it’s harsh to say high and dry.

Okay then, what is Peter Houston contributing at the moment?

Why should he be given a chance IF Johannsen gets emptied?

Things are not going well at the moment for Jonatan Johannsen granted, this would be the right time for him to dispense some of his knowledge and experience in how to navigate this difficult spell, and mentor him through his first ever transfer window. Why isn't this happening?

We don’t know if it is or isn’t.

Maybe he has gave JJ a list of people he could bring to the club but he’s not interested? We just don’t m me.

JJ has to go.

No one knows what Houston’s influence is because we don’t see the in’s and out’s of the day to day stuff but surely he couldn’t be any worse than what we’ve got at the moment? I’d take my chances with that.

We only see the fucking shite product on the park which lies at JJ’s door because he makes the decisions, sets us up and the results and performances haven’t been good enough.

I really hope he brings in 4 or 5 players, turns it round, finds his feet, works out what he’s doing and then all is well but chances of that are looking slim as fuck.

Beaten by East Fife. Absolutely tragic.

I'd be a lot more in favour of JJ if he started using 2 of the best midfielders in the league properly every week. Millar and Tidser are absolutely wasted by his s***ey negative tactics. The 2 of them probably can't wait to get out of here.

Their lack of mobility is part of the problem. You can get away with having one like that, we have 3...

We should have went for Joe Cardle. Exactly the type of player we are crying out for.

We're crying out for full backs and a centre forward, not a sand dancer.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

So, you haven't noticed how slow we are at turning defence into attack?

The midfield has to be the slowest in the league, can't think of one that is slower. Said this before a ball was kicked this season, while some were getting excited about the signings of Millar and McAlister. It was never going to work...

We're even worse off up front! We have a shocking squad right now..

Someone talking sense which is unusual for this particular forum. The squad is truly awful thanks to prick McKinnon who couldn't pick his nose. I would maybe keep Waddell and Tidser....

As Scott said, Both Tidser and Millar are our two best players and probably amongst the best players in this league.

However, we all know you've got an agenda all of your own and get some kind of perverse satisfaction when things don't go well for Morton.

To be fair, Gerrard, Lampard and Scholars were cracking players who couldn't quite gel together.

Tidser and Millar are undoubtedly t two of the best midfielders in the league. McAllister would probably do well in a team with energy around him. JJ has tried 532 to get the best out of them. It doesn't really work.

Tidser had his best season 6 years ago in the first 5 months of 2012-13 before mcmenamin was bought and we changed to 442.

Prior to that, Tidser was the creative edge in a 451 with bachirou and Hardie.

JJ isn't getting the best out of Tidser or Millar.

He clearly doesn't have faith in any of the centre halves or full backs to play a back 4 so has decided to go with a 5 to make us solid. Kinda stinks of someone who doesn't know how to sort them out as a 4 so has just decided to drop us deeper and have a back 8.

I don't really have any faith in his ability to turn things around as I am not really clear what his philosophy is as a manager and that seems to translate to the players.

First couple of interviews he seemed to be able to pinpoint our problems without being able to remedy them.

Maybe he would be a good pundit on the telly.

Just watched the post match interview and was surprised to hear Johansson say that one of his remits when he got the job was to get the budget down and the squad smaller. He arrived about 4 games in to the season so I guess that three year plan was given up on pretty quickly.

Also if we are over budget yet we have such an unbalanced squad with massive holes in it then we either don't have a big enough budget or our summer recruitment of two big name central midfielders on what I'd presume was big wages was a catastrophically terrible idea.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Fk me, missed him saying that but clocked him slipping in that the budget is spent at the end.

If we are only capable of the squad we have and gambled on the snake getting us towards the 3 yr plan with it, it does become apparent that hawke and Crawford are total snake oil salesmen.

JJ has said we have no money even though we have released players. Why the fk are we full time then?!!

What the fk is Hawke doing apart from paving the way for his own career in football administration which he is clearly sh1te at?

Utter shambles of a club.

Morton are going to do nothing under the current regime, being a mid-table Championship team is as good as it's going to get for us.

Really do start to wonder what Warren Hawke is actually bringing to Morton? He is no doubt very well paid, that's money that could be going to the budget for players...
