  1. Aye felt someone had to take the boy down and take a yellow. If that happens we get to ET for me. I understand Dougie not wanting to change the shape as it was working well but we were crying out for some fresh legs towards the end and looked so tired, maybe he would have changed it had we held on for the 90. Not to be and just need to hope we kick on again and finish strong. Was thinking on the drive home, we've probably secured around 750k of unexpected revenue in the last 14 months from Rangers and Celtic away and this cup run. Its been a very successful period for us and hopefully we can build on it.
  2. The team pretty much picks itself if Oakley is fit too...
  3. There's still over 1100 Sinclair St tickets left, will be doing very well if we shift even half of them.
  4. Aye shockingly bad but got away with it due to the incompetence of the ref. I get why the rule is there, but it's existence allows it to be exploited and ref's need to look out for it more and be stronger, rather than just blow the whistle anytime someone goes down.Yesterday is a fine example of it, blatant cheating! I'm sure he dived in the box for a pen in the second half too. Ref also had no idea on our goal and clearly reacted to the Inverness players.
  5. If that is the case, brilliant. Just remember someone mentioned it after Motherwell game.
  6. Massive blow no doubt, hopefully its just weeks.Thankfully we do have decent options to fill in like they did on Tuesday. I'd prefer Muirhead through middle with 2 of Garrity, Quitongo, Bearne and McGrattan on wings. Felt we had a real chance of giving Hearts a scare but having those players out( and Strapp who I think is suspended) probably means we don't.
  7. Lloyd Wilson, fcuk me, he's awful. See big Dunc referenced the old "style of play" various times in his pre match, love it! They sound screwed with injuries, need to win this and send them closer to the seaside.
  8. You could offer a new contract with a clause saying the player gets a wage increase should we get promoted. I don't blame a single player for holding out until the Summer. If Oakley and Strapp continue the form they have shown, there's going to be much bigger clubs than us interested in them and will most likely leave. ( nuts to think Strapp still hasn't lost a game since his return) Oakley has had so much good press recently, most managers outside the top 4 or 5 will be looking at him as a potential option for next year. Crawford, Blues, Muirhead not quite in the Oakley/Strapp bracket of interest but makes sense for them to keep their options open.
  9. I think even if we made every adult a tenner and every kid free on Sat like Raith did last night, we'd still struggle to get more than a few hundred extra. When I think of 3500 home fans against Motherwell and then around 1800 against Airdire, I struggle to think of a reason why 1700 never came on Saturday.
  10. Think we will struggle to get a decent striker in at this stage. QP and Dunfermline were looking for weeks and eventually QP settled for Cillian Sherdian whilst the Pars got Chris Kane, neither would excite me. Raith did get Rudden but that's because they are shagging Dundee to keep United down. Inverness did manage to get Alex Samuel but that was purely down to Geography. Need to hope the big man is out for days rather than weeks.
  11. I think it's simply down to their takeover in the summer and throwing cash about like Gretna did. Fans don't need much to buy into a project so when they are signing right good players on 2-3 year contracts they quickly bought in. On top of that, they made improvements to their stadium, improved their communication channels and social media presence etc so their whole summer was one good news story after another and their fans believed something special could happen. To be fair to them, the money they spend in the summer has probably been covered by the increase in average gates so their gamble worked. Doubt they expected an average of 4 2k I'd like to think we will have something similar this Summer. Money in the bank to make some infrastructure improvements, , a clear focus and strategy and hopefully an increased budget for Dougie to bring in some good players. I think it's practically impossible for us to have 3-4000 inside Cappielow any time soon but 2000 home fans should be the absolute minimum target.
  12. They've just tweeted saying it's available in the UK tonight
  13. Their website says video coverage tonight. No restrictions unlike Sat at 3pm.
  14. He played 32 games last season and had 3 sending offs so had to serve a number of suspensions. His fitness was good last season apart from the month of March. This season must be frustrating for him. He will need a really good run of games from now until the end of the season or I can't see Dougie keeping him.
