BishopBrennan
Kerr Waddell absolutely bodies Jamie Stevenson with a slide tackle. Some boy You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!
vikingTON
Hopefully Millar did a full knee-sliding GIUY to that snake after taking the huff, dropping him from the team and nearly getting us relegated in the process from the start of January 2008. Good has triumphed over evil - which is not too surprising when evil happens to be the biggest bottle merchant and failure in the history of Scottish football. Sad! The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

SpoonTon
Robert Thompson senior career goals = 50 Gary Oliver senior career goals = 23 Incorrect. Also, Thomson had scored the majority of his goals against teams who were playing at a lower level than the Championship at the time (I think only 16 at this level) Gary Oliver has scored all but three of his 28 senior goals against teams playing at Championship level or higher. That being said, I've been critical of Oliver recently for not playing at his best. Thomson has some ability, but has struggled to really fit in with any Morton line-up I've seen him play in. Hej
Thomson seems like the sort of player who would benefit from playing up top with a partner. This setup JJ is playing will hopefully awaken the ability in him
BishopBrennan
The last thing I wanted on Saturday was for it to be a typical Championship v League 2 game where we lose 3-0 and get no credit for our performance at all and we’re in the same situation. How did that work out for your Jim? You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

Mr Toon
Delighted with the result last night. Yes we should have beaten them on Saturday and of course they are a lower league team, but it's not always that simple so to get such a convincing result is very pleasing. I really hope JJ now sticks with that team for the for the next few games, barring injuries and then we might just get some consistency.
vikingTON
We should certainly stick with the formation as our Plan A. There's really nothing to be gained by reverting to a back four and its to JJ's credit that he hasn't done so after a few rancid results. We certainly need to work on a plan B for when things aren't working though - moving to a 3-4-3 and playing a more direct game might be the easiest switch during a match if we could get a halfway credible targetman on board.
