This.

On the note of his wife...appears more interested in Rangers in some internet posts. She seem particularly animated the end of December regarding a club in Govan.

Bye Bye JJ.

Could he be worse than Grady?

Tbh, I couldn’t care less how much of a Rangers fan she is- they’re irrelevant to this. Trawling round Twitter liking posts that slag her man is juvenile- you’ll see plenty of that tonight, too. There’s one solution to stop getting slaughtered and that’s by getting results. He’s not doing that so it’s open season on him.

I want to see our club’s profile grow, but not this way. The board have taken a risk and it hasn’t worked out- there’ll be compensation coming in from Falkirk, so they’re as well just accepting the hit and writing out the P45 now.

Agreed with this.

I really hope there was a few clauses in the contract RE win % come 2019 or table

Position etc to lower the pay out.

We need to act fast, it was evident he wasn’t cut out for it early into his time and longer we leave it the bigger the issues.

I was thinking that the other day, actually. The money from that mob should go some way to covering Johansson's, although not quite covering the idiocy of a two year deal for a rookie with no break points that'd allow him to be released in the summer.

Were folk supposedly in the know not saying Hopkin turned us down because of a clause saying he had to have us in a certain league position?

If so you would imagine the snake and JJ had this as well.

Probably just keep us in the league and Crawford and Hawke will have orgasams.

JJ is a very easy target here, and quite rightly so.

But, the players must also take their share of the blame. This is not a vastly inexperienced team, the average age of the team this season is 26/27. They should be able to perform even without a manager in the dugout.

Because with no manager, they would choose a system and strategy that is not practically guaranteed to fail.

Indeed. From early on there's been a visible tentativeness and uncertainty across the whole team, and as time's went past things have deteriorated badly. We've got players who are decent enough in a reasonably organised team but because we've got a manager who is so bad, their performances have dropped a couple of levels and we get what we're getting now: they just aren't good enough for that to happen and not be extremely damaging. It's precisely why you need a good manager, it's the entire job description: it's absurd to suggest a bunch of average players should still be playing well under a rubbish manager.

If it happens at a higher level the players are good enough that they might still muster through, but ours aren't. That's why they're playing in the second tier in Scotland.

No defence for JJ after today. Looked an interesting appointment at the time but he is so far out his depth it is getting embarrassing. The only style he seems interested in imposing is based on a solid defensive unit,  involving as many central defenders as possible (critical that none of them know how to defend set-pieces). You could see Houston getting visibly frustrated today watching JJ flounder around. As the cry rang round New Bayview - Time to go, Time to go, Time to go...

Houston is the obvious solution but he'd have to be a fucking nutcase to take the job on under the current clown car set up Morton have. We actually deserve league 1 football, our whole club is a shambles from top to bottom.
