Simply enough, when Matt was given the standard blood test, they found dormant trace elements of the Staph infection which plagued him many months ago. Khali (liver problems, could return quicker than others but who really cares?) Lashley (liver problems) Super Crazy (again, liver problems) Matt Hardy (may have something to do with a former staph infection) Tatanka (no word yet on why) Kid Kash (same as Tatanka) Kristal (possible rib injury from GAB) Here's the list of guys who are out already...(sorry if I miss anyone) Mark Henry (broken kneecap) Chris Benoit (out to take care of his wife who had neck surgery or something...also just to rest up from nagging injuries) The Boogeyman (can't remember, some sort of injury ) Paul Burchill (think it was a knee injury) Bob Holly (staph infection, recovering well and due back soon) Joey Mercury (in rehab I believe) There's gotta be a curse on Smackdown... According to Meltzer and Alvarez the Raw roster will be heavily hit soon as it will be their turn to have drug testing. For some reason they test the rosters at different times.
