Chelsea looking to buy Scottish club

Chelsea are 'looking to buy a Scottish Premiership or Championship club' to ship players to in order to get around new rules on stockpiling youth players.

Wonder if Hopkins still has good contacts with Chelsea ?

Amazes me that people still get his name wrong.

I'm amazed that anyone would even think that it would be us. Anyway, Morton have got thu Eeeeeeeze-dales waiting in the wing who are even richer than the KGB's henchman, and they are going to buy over Amazon and the Cafe Cuntonental too. We'll be okay.

In the unlikely event that they do try and buy us, alarm bells should ring immediately. It will be an attempt to get Lewis Strapp on the cheap. We shouldn't accept less than £5million plus a 30% sell on clause.

i suppose there will be plenty of Scottish clubs with stronger links to Chelsea than us. David Hopkin, Joe McLaughlin and John Spencer are the only three I can think of without searching, although their best ever player, Charlie Cooke, was from Greenock.

I doubt that kind of sentiment will be a factor anyway, they are more likely to go for a club with good facilities, decent coaches and a pedigree of developing youth talent. So still not us.

Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Michael Essien, Gianfranco Zola, Pierluigi Casaraghi, Roberto Di Matteo, Gianluca Vialli, Dan Petrescu, Didier Deschamps, Marcel Desailly, Frank Lebeouf etc. That's even before going as far back as even Ray Wilkins or Peter Osgood or even further back to Jimmy Greaves.

No, Charlie Cooke is their greatest ever player

Yeah, we all know it’s really Michael Ross.

Look at her riding pillions on Davy’s sea-bike, carrying an apoplectic macaw in a silver hoop. Oh, Morton, let’s go there this winter!  Or learning the Japanese chinchona from that Kobe group, in a dress that looks like a blowtorch rising from one knee, and which should sell big in Texas. Morton, is that real fire? Happy, happy little girl!

I done a quick search of websites which have Chelsea's greatest ever players or Chelsea Greatest Ever XI, and whilst for the majority he

(Charlie Cooke) doesnt get in the first XI, one website lists him as no.7 in their greatest ever players. That same website also lists Pat fucking Nevin in its top 50, so somehow I don't know how realistic it is.
