Morton v Alloa

Club says the game is going ahead so far.

I gather that the road between Greenock and Port Glasgow is flooded and closed at some point. Mention of things being bad at Sinclair Street, with traffic cones floating away.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

It strikes me that they won’t under any circumstances even announce a pitch inspection for Saturday games, given the financial implications. Was there one for Dundee United? When you saw the paltry crowd that turned up for what should’ve been one of our most lucrative home games of the season, it looks like since then they’ve shat themselves at the prospect of poorly attended Tuesday night games against teams like Queen of the South and Alloa. They dodged a bullet getting Queens on the free Saturday, but had that been midweek in February we were looking at an 800 crowd.

If it’s out with their hands, so be it, but it looks like Morton are doing everything possible to discourage any postponements, regardless of the weather.

Powet cut in the east end now. That'll be the silent media excuse all ready.

Dundee U v Inverness game was a bit of a farse last night, same again today if the game is on. Avoid the goal mouth.

There was a U tube video posted last weekend of a Portadown FC boy slotting the ball by the goalie and running away celebrating only for the ball to get stuck in the mud before crossing the line. Luckily a team mate followed up and put it in, Morton forwards take note.

You mean, Morton defenders take note ?

Permanently submerging Langbank would be best for all concerned.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

The A8 is closed at Langbank so are they hoping to start the game without the opposition :-)

No excuse - they can park at Langbank and catch a train.

Club has tweeted that the M8 westbound is closed and there's a diversion at Paisley via Bridge of Weir.

Several other games getting called off.
