KKK there is a cracking wee bin pub up Skelmorlie called the Eglinton Bar or as the locals call it The Eggy! Of course it’s not the best location or easiest pub to get to but it’s cheap as chips, big boy measures and smells, solid bin!

Good luck convincing KKKelbie to go to Ayrshire. The Eggy is one of those places where the pints are expensive but the big boy spirits are cheap.

No point starting a new thread.

I thought that was quite a pedestrian first half, although our left hand side is looking dangerous. We will need to up the tempo for the second half.

The Norseman appears to be missing from the KKKelbie leaderboard.

#1120548 Championship 2018-19 Thread

Posted by BishopLenBrennan on 27 May 2019 - 10:02 PM

Eight. All in 1989.

Feb 25th -  Tommy Turner at Forfar, saved by Kennedy. Ended 0-0.

Mar 1st - Tommy Turner v Kilmarnock, saved by McCulloch. Ended 2-2.

Mar 4th - John McNeil v Partick Thistle, saved by Murdoch, Ended 1-1.

Mar 22nd - John Spencer v St. Johnstone, saved by Balavage (although we scored from the corner). Ended 2-2.

Mar 27th - John McNeil at St. Johnstone, hit the bar and the rebound header was turner over (again, we scored from the corner). Ended 2-3.

Apr 4th - Ian Clinging v Clydebank, hit the underside of the bar and bounced clear. Ended 1-0.

Apr 8th - Rowan Alexander at Queen of the South, at 1-0 up. Saved by Cunningham. Ended 1-1.

Sep 2nd - John Boag v Airdrie, terrible effort saved by Martin. Ended 0-1.

Worth pointing out that in May that year we actually scored all 5 in a penalty shoot out in the final of the Renfrewshire Cup at Cappielow. Scorers were - John Fowler, Archie McGeachie, John Boag, Derek McInnes and Jimmy Boag.

The rut officially ended in March 1990 when John Fowler scored one in a 2-0 home win over Forfar.

That is the most boring post in the history of this forum.

Charlton Athletic score a last-gasp winner to deny Jack Ross and Sunderland promotion.

Dundee United are absolutely rank at the back, St Mirren have been the better team and I'd be surprised if they don't win it.

#1120005 Hopkin Appointed

Posted by BishopLenBrennan on 23 May 2019 - 11:44 AM

No need to try and be a clever d#ck m8 I'm just having an opinion. Would be a bit daft if we have a great manager and shit team wouldn't it? If things went wrong you'll probs be the 1st shouting for the managers head.

Two posts and you're already raging. You'll fit in well here.

You're using it to criticise him when there's nothing there to criticise.

Gordon's just raging because if the MCT overtakes the Trust then he and his groomer become even more irrelevant. Or he'll have to start snooping on even more Facebook profiles.

#1118932 Chris Millar Interview

Posted by BishopLenBrennan on 10 May 2019 - 09:28 AM

Chris Millar interviewed by the Soccer FM podcast, talking about taking the team on the last day of the season and his plans for the future. Interview starts about half an hour in, but it's worth listening to the full podcast as they take a few wee jibes at Grangemouth.

Fucked if I'm buying a season ticket next season to watch young Alexander playing a centre forward.

If, and this is a massive if, your statement is genuine then fine. As I stated before, you and your sanctimonious 'Morton fans aren't doing enough' type posts will not be missed at all.

But the thing is, everyone knows fine well that won't happen. You will still be hanging trying your upmost to brown-nose everyone within sight. I'd hazard an educated guess and say the new regime are less sympathetic to the views of pointless hangers on like yourself. You're upset because Warren's resignation pulls the 'I'm ITK and speak to the CEO regularly' rug out from under your feet. And given how much of a sanctimonious wanker you are, I for one am quite enjoying it.
