That's now over 100k they've had to pay, on top of the money the spunked in Jan. Where do those peasants find the cash.

Have they not made a fortune in transfers fees over the years?

That and their average attendance is 4700,

Unfortunately they have a much better Infrastructure than us too and make money from their stadium via conferences, corporate events, weddings, music events, pitch hire, bar/cafe facilites etc.

C**ts!

In 2016 they lost £130k, 2017 £303k, after player sales were taken off the larger losses.

Yes they banked £3m in transfer fees since 2011, but the cost of the academy was £2.4m over that period so the sales only amounted to £75k per year. Rather than providing a cash boost, transfer fees just plugged a wee bit of the financial hole.

If they went a year without transfer income they would have been at serious risk of running out of cash which is why they binned the academy completely.

It's not the rosy picture over there you describe. Paying off Hartley (£60k), McKinnon costing £110k, spending a fortune in January with contract terminations and buying a new squad, if they still go down, they will be in the shit.

The infrastructure is actually split between the club and the council so it's not clear how many of those events benefit the club at all.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Fingers crossed.

Posted in P&B - meeting between Falkirk fans' groups and board members tonight.

Margaret Lang:

'Explained that they still believe we were above board with the whole McKinnon and Morton saga and that McKinnon wanted to bring a few things up at the tribunal which he wasn’t allowed too which has been backed up by JJ and Houston apparently. Ayr United actually tried to stick up for us by saying we acted above board with them.'

Get them to court for breach of the non disclosure agreement.

Regardless of why he wanted to leave, the issue is how he left.

Wasn't allowed to by whom?

edit: if he was alleging interference or something, then I guess the tribunal would have said - okay, if you're saying Morton were in breach of their contract, that's something you'd have to raise with them and let them contest it, rather than just snaking out and having a snake club accommodate your snakelike ways.

We know not all was rosy in the garden when McKinnon left but as many people have said over and over again, NONE of this exonerates McKinnon, his agent Jim Sherry, or Falkirk.

And in the case of Margaret Lang in particular, anything that McKinnon wanted to bring up, that JJ/PH would confirm, has absolutely fuck all to do with Falkirk. That's between McKinnon (and JJ/PH) and his employers. The rules of approach would still apply to Lang and Falkirk regardless of what was happening at Cappielow. Why doesn't she understand this?

Possibly new evidence at the appeal but not sure.

Regardless, what a fucking horrible lot they are.

At the appeal, not the tribunal? Why didn't he bring it up in the first place?

I hope Crawford's on the phone to Lang tomorrow, she absolutely needs to let this go.

Another payout for that pube heided wee cunt on top of paying Her Maj back all his EBT money would be delicious.

Tweet us your thoughts on that one, Jean.

No idea. Was a meeting with supporters groups to apologise that only a few of the players went to supporters events but turned into a bit of a Q&A which covered numerous things including this.

Board aren't letting her release a statement so unfortunately we don't get to see it on black and white.

Even after losing the tribunal, losing the appeal, offering up settlement, then seeing their club relegated, they still seem intent on embarrassing themselves further.

Wow.

I assumed he meant Falkirk rather than JJ/PH?

I assume McKinnon is wanting to bring up something to do with picking the team or players that can be selected?

He really is an absolute cunt.

Hopefully QOS go down and win the league next season and someone else wins the play off.

Also, if JJ and Houston want to support, they didn’t seem happy about being given the bullet so it couldn’t have been that bad.
