Chris Millar made his 300th appearance for St. Johnstone last night. That's a good career on top of the 200 odd games he played for Morton.

That's a surprisingly high number since he's quite injury prone.

Eh?

He was pretty much ever present in his 5 seasons with us apart  from his last season but even then, he still played 32 games.

In his first 7 seasons with St Johnstone, he was playing a min of 30 games a season.

Its only been the last year or two he has picked up a few injuries.

To play a min of 30 games every season for 12 seasons in a row is pretty impressive.

I'm sure some will disagree but for a player who is average at most he's had a good career. Just goes to show what a hard work ethic and fitness can do.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

I know he played almost every week for us but I never realised it's only been the last couple of years at St Johnstone. Thought it was longer than that.

Haven't really seen him play since he left us, but yeah he's had a great career in comparison to his teammates of similar ability at Morton.

You are right that some will disagree and he certainly has a great work ethic. However he has been better than average playing in the Premier League with St Johnstone so I suppose it depends how you define average.

It's all about opinions and he certainly was one of our better players in his time with us and a loss when he went.

Wonder who he will help to win it next season?

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.
