As much as I like it, and as much as I am proud to be British and all that it stands for (and against) and as much as I have great respect for our armed forces - I dislike Earl Haig and think that it isn't right that the country has to continually pay for that man's conscience. A lot of good people lost their lives needlessly as a result of that man's actions.

There are other deserving veterans charities out there - including Erskine, Help for Heroes, SSAFA and others.

Pathetic acts for a worthless cause.
