We clearly love playing in windy conditions, so today should be all set up for a big Morton win.

The big problem with that is that if we get the job done today we're due a sh*ter in our next game, which just happens to be against those peasants.

This sums us up.

Trying to decide which game it would be better to be shite in.

What a time to be alive.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

If Falkirk beat Alloa today and we lose to Dundee Utd, and Falkirk beat us next week we will only be three points ahead of them

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

While other clubs seem to miraculously get call offs when it is of great advantage to them, during an injury crisis or busy schedules, Morton never seem to be that streetwise and seem to bust a gut to get a game on despite whatever situation we find ourselves in.

Not saying that applies today if any decision would be wind/safety related, just a general point that annoys me.

On another note, "snowflake" is horrendous patter, and usually the reserve of middle aged Tommy Robinson supporters/apologists as a way of justifying their racism on Facebook.

Indeed, generally quite a revealing term.

Anyway, interesting to read Ross MacLean suggesting the switch to a "more defensive" 3-5-2 was Houston's doing. For good or ill, it tells us he's making a significant contribution.

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see Falkirk being ahead of us going into 2019. If that happens Johansson has to be punted, it's intolerable not to be comfortably clear of them: it would totally justify McKinnon's move and categorically confirm Morton's status as the ultimate diddy team.

We complain about Russell, Quitongo, O'Ware and McKinnon leaving for "bigger clubs" and claim that's not the case, but if we surrender the lead we had over Falkirk, especially given the circumstances, the game's a bogey.

Not a bit of wind so far. Is it actually forecast? We’ll get pumped regardless. ****ing grim being a Morton fan just now.

Forecast has changed since I got up this morning - looks to be just wet rather than windy.

Game should be on.

Who claims its not the case? Haven't heard that. It is the case and most accept that.

What was scoffed at, particularly in the case of the players, was that it wasn't the big move to a higher level that they all felt they were entitled to.

I can't be bothered prowling through old threads, but there's been plenty of people disputing the "bigger club" thing.

If you want to be a pedantic fud about it then go ahead.

Obviously collectively they need to have a good day but its the players that go out and actually perform!!

Don't worry, if we get gubbed, JJ will be getting hounded as much as the players I'm sure!

The players aren’t downing tools or looking disinterested though - so far at least. If they’re playing like dung then that requires a collective solution instead of saying ‘just play better’ to those going out on the park.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

I used to moan at people who complained about Duffys team pre match as a lot of the times we would end up winning, but fuck me that team is grim.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
