Seems to have had his injury problems last year, hopefully over that.

Been on a week to week deal stalling in signing back on properly since May.

Bradford fans seem a bit mixed on him, some pretty happy he is gone others saw a bit of potential. Physical with a good left foot.

Strange signing in lieu of the required defenders but hopefully more to come.

Tumilty's been pretty dreadful overall. He was out of his depth for most of last season. We've managed to move him out and we've already stated that we're looking for a new right back. This is good news.

If we get one it's good news, if we don't, it's bad news IMO as I'd rather Tumilty there than Jim or Jacobs.

Tumilty’s a far better full back than McAlister and we’re a better side with him at right back than Jacobs because it allows the latter to play in midfield; despite Jacobs being fine at right back we’re a better team when he’s in his best position. If this frees up the wage to get a definite upgrade at right back then fine, but even then we’ll still be extremely short on defensive cover.

Depending on the quality of the replacement, this could work out well for all involved. I think it could be worth trying to persist with Tumilty, although getting relegated from League One won't look good for him. Hopefully we have two defenders coming in, one of which is a natural right back. We still need at least one centre back and cover for left back. One defensive signing isn't going to solve our ropey backline.

After last night I don't want to see McAlister at full back ever again.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

The thing is he really isn't. McAlister can at least defend which Tumilty has never looked interested in doing.

We have defensive problems; Tumilty can't solve them so he's out. Good move for him and us.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

If Tumilty is out then we’re surely adding a right back to the squad in the near future. Given that he couldn’t even secure that spot in a dung Johansson team I’m not going to shed any tears about his absence now. A player who seems to be rated more highly the longer he doesn’t actually play.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
