That is, until your wife, daughter or sister becomes his next victim.

No, get in the sea with that suggestion. Anyone who agrees with you should walk the plank too.

Try sobering up before you post next time.

You make him sound like a serial rapist or worse. The guy made a horrible mistake and was dealt with by the authorities. The SFA have not rejected his player membership so they are happy he is not a risk to sisters, brothers or morthers.

We have had ex drug users, deals, alcoholics and players who have committed assaults but due to their stature it was forgotten.

Lithgow what ever you think of him is a good player and if 1200 Morton fans are opposed to him, I'm sure that if the next 90m go his way then he won't care as he will be a Premiership player with massive crowds in attendance.

I seen someone saying he shouldnt be allowed at Cappielow, unfortunately he played at Cappielow, all be it for Livi, at least twice last season.

Guy was charged and he needs to move on with his life and career and take the learnings from it.

In my opinion, Lithgow would have been a better addition. To our squad than Luca and Lee Miller is a better player than McHugh, Baird and Thomson.

Massive crowds.

Even more folk to wave his cock at.

Anyone is better than Thomson...

McHugh has been a massive disappointment

I see you are still arguing against what you think I’m saying and not what I’m actually saying.

That'll be a 'no' then.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Four separate occasions. That constitutes a serial sex offender in the eyes of any decent person.

We have had ex drug users, deals, alcoholics and players who have committed assaults but due to their stature it was forgotten.

Drug and Alcohol misuse, Gambling problems etc. That's normal human frailty which people can seek help and recover from. With regards to crimes involving violence -judge each and every person and case on their own merit.

However, what Lihgow done was much worse than all of these.

There are sex offenders out there who are better players than him. What is so special about him that we should sign him? He's not going to be the next Danny McGrain, so we can overlook him without a care.

Somewhere else preferably.

He is better suited to one of the desperate car crash outfits who belong in the gutters of morality. Which leads me to question, if he was so good, why didn't he had a sniff of a move to Rangers when they were scraping the barrels?

None of the Morton players mentioned have ever been on the sex offender's register.

Before reading that link I would have been happy for him to sign. The guy is a good player and we need a solid, no nonsense centre half. People make mistakes and should be allowed a second chance but the fact he did what he did 4 times and children were present is just not acceptable. Don't need that type at our club.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

Been more than a few wrong yins in Morton's recent history. Martin Hardie, for example, climbed up drainpipes in his spare time.

A crime that will see him labelled a basket case, but not a sex offender.

Lithgow is a good player. But not so good that there aren't any similar/as good/better players available to make the decision easy enough to avoid a player with his history.

Regardless of the debate, I am sure the club's community agenda would stop in it's tracks any interest in such a player should there ever be some.

David Robertson too. Glad that cunt will never darken the door of Cappielow again.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

To be honest, if some guy's clambering up drainpipes to spy on his ex then the difference between sex offender and general oddball is largely academic. Creepy ****er.

Nope, not with you on that.

Creepy fucker, yes. But there's still a massive difference from that to convicted sex offender.
