Shifting McAllister to right wing back would be a good place to start. Solves two things, gets rid of Tumilty who has been rank, and gets him out of the middle of the park where he’s mostly getting in the way of Tidser and Millar’s or getting caught wrong side of opposition players. He’s not suited to the position he’s playing, he doesn’t know how to play it.

Why is it that posters always blame the manager? Bottom line is that Duffy did not deserve the sack...we followed that by hiring an arsehole who put together a very average squad many of whom are either injury prone or finished or simply not good enough to start with. Johansson has been left with a mess of a squad and all of you blame him entirely. We will inevitably end up in a relegation battle this season unless we can pick up around 5 or 6 players in January who are a significant upgrade on the current shambles. Ultimately we will probably regret sacking Duffy which was a very predictable scenario at the start of the season.

Spot on. Bad decision to sack Jim Duffy.

We finished 7th in one of the worst second tiers in recent memory, after a complete capitulation that season and the season before. Duffy did a decent job but took us as far as he could, hence why he’s wound up at Dumbarton and nowhere half decent. He was rightly punted.

In any case he wasn't technically sacked. His contract ran out and wasn't renewed. For the guy who's losing his job it's a semantic thing; but in terms of finances, contracts etc. there's a world of difference between paying someone off and just letting the deal come to its natural end. Again, not saying it won't have felt like the sack to Duffy, but in reality that's not what it was.

He had a year left on his deal.

Did he? Well, shows what I know. We definitely did that to one manager. Grady it might have been.

Either way I think it was the right time to get rid of Duffy, and I think if the snake was still in charge we'd look a bit better than we do.

Yeah, Grady was let go at the end of his contract.

Agreed on your second point. As things stand I'd prefer McKinnon, Duffy and then Johansson as manager, in that order.

He should have been punted after the first disastrous end of season and attempt at the playoffs the fact we gave him another shot at it fuck me he must have been laughing he lasted a year longer than he should have.

Whoever we appointed after him has no bearing on why Duffy left he had run his race so was ttg.

At the same stage last season we have just beaten Brechin to go to 23 points (and we'd only take 5 points from the following 5 games). So in terms of points we're not much worse off for sacking Duffy, despite a very unsettled few months.

The budget was increased this year and we broke out season ticket sales as we were sold the second chapter of the Rae’s quest for the top.

The level of performance is worse than Duffy’s tenure and has taken us back.

We should not be accepting f second best or looking at where we were last year. Last year was a failure and this season is heading that way.

The fans responded to the worn out cry for support and once again they are being let down.

JJ is showing nothing to suggest he is cut out to

Be a manager.

I think most can see the inevitable sacking coming and regardless of his contract duration I think we need to take action sooner rather than later as something is far wrong with the tactics, game plan and instructions set to the players as it’s like watching a bunch of trialists who have been out the game for 6month and never played

Together.

I so very much hope there are some release clauses in his contract!
