The Big 2018-19 Squad Thread

Was just about to come on and post about that, so thankfully not been Gourlayed.

Also worth noting Kieran McAnespie (yes, Kieran McAnespie!!!) putting his tuppenceworth in about that being what's wrong with the game. A guy who did the square root of f*ck all in his time at Morton.

Agreed. 2 guys who achieved fuck all in their careers and were entirely unprofessional throughout their time with us having a go at a young guy happy to score on his debut.

Dean Keenan, eh? A guy who came on to steady a crucial game, gave away a few fouls including one that led to the goal and subsequently got hooked right back off passing judgement about "everything wrong with the game". The less said about McAnespie, the better.

Really don't see the problem with Tumilty's tweet, clearly a bit of a mad day for him and he's acknowledged the result wasn't good. I wouldn't really be arsed about what those two dickheads think about it.

Liked by our good friend Thomas O'Ware as well, or course. Bellend.

Dean Keenan is a fanny. I don' see anything with the boy trying to take positives from his game to build a bit of momentum.

Nah, me neither. Actually quite pleased to see a player being happy and taking a bit of confidence from a game while noting it wasn't what we wanted from it.

Keenan and McAnespie were poster boys for everything that was wrong with McInally era Morton. McAnespie was, quite frankly a disgrace of a professional and to use his own quote, "everything that was wrong with scottish football."

Keenan is a 33 year old failed pro having a dig at a 21 year old. Classy stuff indeed.

Tiffoney and OWare liking such a snidey tweet says everything and we are best shot of them both. OWare strolled about like the big man last season. So joker agent can only bloat your status so far though.

Can't wait to get him hounded.

Exactly. Good response from him and what seems to have been a promising debut.

Taking professionalism lessons from a babestation cameraman and the world naked ping pong champion, who never got a 6 rating in the paper between them while playing for Morton, all the while being supported by a player who came out in the press the day of the final game of the season advising he was leaving.

Stick to scoring goals Reghan and enjoying your football and don't listen to those two muppets.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

This incident of course makes Keenan's own Twitter fair game when he's shipping goals for a junior rabble throughout the season, far beneath Tumilty's level.

Not exactly the brightest decision even by his own very dim standards.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

I’m struggling to see what’s wrong with Reghan’s tweet?

He acknowledges the result wasn’t what the team came for - and of course you’re going to be buzzing to grab a debut goal...

Keenan however, is clearly scrambling for all sorts of Scott McLaughlin-esque relevance with the Morton support with that sort of tweet.

Let’s stop talking about them and keep them irrelevant.

Especially when the manager has said himself that he sees it as a pre season game.

Heard last night that Tiffoney had been training at Johnstone Burgh, maybe just to keep his fitness up, but who knows?

You got to wonder who’s advising the likes of tiffoney and Russell their is very little or no money in Scottish football to even pay a development fee

Was also talking to someone who is friendly with Kyle Wilkie, he's signed for Airdrie on a deal for a pretty low wage (don't want to quote actual figures on a public forum) and no bonuses what so ever.

There's obviously VERY little money around.
