HamCam
I know some are desensitised to the endless stream of news story but have a read: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jan/12/graham-rix-gwyn-williams-accused-racism-bullying-chelsea I appreciate some will argue you cannot judge what happened in the day with today's standards but these allegations, if true, are completely unacceptable. capitanus
The likelihood is that there will be some truth in it. One of the things that has become evident in recent times is that there are a lot of people involved in 'Youth' Football who shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near it, either because they were filthy perverts or just bad bastards, or in the case of Graham Rix - both of these. *insert signature here*

xj2006
Am I the only one who is totally not understanding this story? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43404314 Declan McDaid is from Greenock. How could he have received racist abuse (assuming his abuser was also a white male Scot)?

I was told recently you are better to say - mixed parentage! Thankfully, my granny is not alive anymore as she wouldn't be allowed out with her now dated terminology for anyone 'off-white'! vikingTON
Hope the Raith fan get's what is coming to him He's already supporting a trophyless permadiddy outfit in the seaside leagues. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
