This would be the Third relegation under the Rae Family and taking us back to where the bought us all those years ago. Zero progress made, failed 5 and 3 year plans, stands bought to rust, wrong Marc McCulloch signed, players bought but can’t play, £200k for a janitor and then JJ... EanieMeany Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Whilst there's obviously mistakes being made by individuals that are costing us, I find it hard to really apportion to much blame to the squad overall. We've got a squad of guys who are all just about mediocre-average Championship players who are neither great nor Wallace/Page-esque, it's impossible for them to be anything other s***e under such a dreadful manager. Give a decent manager the squad, it'd probably make the play-offs; give a s***ebag the squad and it'll inevitably be a disaster. It's something that's been apparent in a lot of games, but you saw in the first half that the midfielders were holding back at the half-way line, it's clear that that's how they're being told to play. It's not just that Johansson's incompetent, it's the fact that he's so utterly gutless in his approach. At this point I really do think it's an arrogance to an extent, that he thinks superior to the players at this level and therefore nobody is capable of anything other than hoping for the best.
