irnbru
To be fair all she said was he had made a signing and that the news of who it was would be released tomorrow. The Sun obviously have heard the news too. I think I saw something earlier in the week about McCrorie but can't remember where. Aye, she's not said that much wrong. Might be a bit annoying but she's harmless and just getting behind her husband.
Mr Toon
Pleased if each of these signings turn out to be true. McCrorie did really well on loan last season and Dallas had been scoring a lot of goals for the Rangers reserve team. Hope that's not our lot however. Clydeview
Seriously? Only he and Millar are worth paying to watch. Did he put his name to it? I'll keep plugging away with this one. Both Millar and Tidser have some good attributes, but they don't work together in midfield. The lack of pace in the middle of the park is one of the main problems the team has. Add in McAlister and we have THE least dynamic midfield in the league. The forwards and midfield are always miles apart, because our midfield don't have the legs to get up in support - it leaves our pretty average forwards isolated and working off scraps. It works the same in the other direction. Our very average defence doesn't get great cover from the midfield, as opponents regularly burst past them all too easily due to their lack of pace. We're pretty poor in every area, the midfield included. "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea." TheGoon
I’d personally rather we had no dealings with Rangers at all, but it was always inevitable with JJ.

I don't care who we take loans from if they improve our squad and give everything to/for Morton while they wear our jersey.
Charles_Joe
Tidser is wasted in this Morton side, he’s got no one to play in. We’d honestly be better off with a runner. We’re not equipped for intelligent footballers. Get rid of him, for his good and ours.

Tidser shouldn’t be forced out of the club because the manager has no idea how to properly utilise hum.

EanieMeany
She really is making a complete tit of herself. She's calling someone out for spelling her name wrong The (potential) problem here is that she's saying he's signed one player then sharing stories about him being interested in two. If only one deal is done, the last thing you want's yer daft wife broadcasting your interest in the other one. Look at St Mirren, they had a guy driving up from Blackpool to sign a contract who was ordered back to his club to sign for someone else when he was on the outskirts of Glasgow. Nobody at the club should be leaking transfer stories. It's fine if it comes from a fan because let's face it, rumours keep things exciting, but the manager's wife shouldn't be discussing his dealings at all no matter how vague. Mr Toon
Seems she can't help herself.FFS when you see some of the stuff on here this is taking double standards and hypocrisy to a new level. She tweeted to say JJ had signed someone and on being asked who said it would be announceed by the club tomorrow, (now today). She then tweeted a link to the Sun in effect reposting something already in the public domain, and then she had a wee bit of banter with someone who was criticising her and JJ. I agree that she shouldn't be leaking any sensitive or confidential stuff but to date she certainly hasn't done so. She is obviously highly successful at what she does and clearly is attempting to be supportive of her husband in what he does. Not a lot wrong with that. Her tweeting that JJ had actually signed someone was the first bit of good news after days of scanning every possible outlet for some such news. Malt
She shouldn’t be saying anything. The club should be maybe doing more on social media? Showing a strip with a number but no name to build up anticipation that someone coming in or a tweet saying signing news due.

We had improved massively on Social Media but and in general communications with fans but that seems to have totally evaporated now - eg. The Chairman's updates etc. Even the now common 'contract emoji and question mark' would do

Not going to pretend that Jean doesn't irk me slightly but have to agree that some people's criticism of her is way over the top. A successful woman standing up for her faltering husband shouldn't be receiving the sort of response that it currently does.

She's welcome to support him, yes, but it's not her place to be teasing news of new signings. There's a difference between support and attention-seeking.
