Deego
Has anyone had their iPhone screen replaced/fixed in Greenock before and can recommend a shop? Apple are looking for £126 so wondered if we could get it done cheaper in the town. Asking for someone else. Cheers.
Specto
Personally never done it myself although I've heard a lot of horror stories about the shops taking hardware out the phone and replacing it with crappy third party components (battery for example). You should be able to claim the repair through insurance though (if you've got insurance).

Cost £60 for brand new screen and fixed it within an hour. They also give you a one month warranty. If you have a look at their Facebook page they get good reviews constantly so would recommend. Alibi
I was quoted £30-£40 for a new screen for my daughter's iphone 5S. Place in Dumfries but I would assume the cost would be similar wherever you are in Scotland. £126 seems pretty steep - you can get a complete secondhand phone for that. Alibi
That's Apple for you though, isn't it? Spot on. I know people seem to like the iOS interface but I hate it - when I'm asked to set anything up on her iphone, I find it extremely unintuitive. Much prefer Android.
