Best of a bad bunch, relatively speaking.

Liam Palmer's fuckin rubbish as well, shouldn't be near the squad after his performance in Kazhakstan.

The only other game I can remember seeing him was in the derby at Hillsborough a few weeks before Kazakhstan and I thought he was alright- never even knew he was Scottish though, it actually crossed my mind that he might have been Carlton Palmer’s son. He might have played in the derby at Bramall Lane, but as I was at the game i wasn’t paying any attention to his individual performance the way you can watching a game on TV.

On the Kazakhstan performance though, he wasn’t alone in being utter shite that day. Th’d be a few you’d be emptying if it was bad on that one game.

He isn't. If we must have guys who haven't even set foot in the country we should at least make sure they're exceptionally good.

Also wouldn't be at all bothered if a lot of those players weren't seen again. The likes of Burke and McBurnie have been consistently rotten.

Am sure both boys were with First Touch. Morgan was with Rangers. Not sure if Taylor was ever there or went straight to Killie. Killie took some of the areas best talent for a fair few years.

Both good lads who deserve there success. Hard work, dedication, good attitude etc etc.

Taylor played for St Andrews for years where his dad was a coach then Rangers then Killie. Rangers and Killie had tonnes of Greenockians at that time, even more than St Mirren.

Interestingly, around the time Morgan left Rangers was when John Laird was trying to set up a Youth System at the Ton but failed totally. There were a lot of players at Morton who left at this point who are now scattered around the lower leagues/Juniors

A number of them around your age per chance?

Can think of a number who lost out due to the failure of our system and also Rangers.

A couple playing in the junior Cup final tomorrow!!

I think Clarks’s likely to try convert Tierney into a right back. I’d be fine with that and I’m sure with Clarke’s coaching he’d nail down the position. In the meantime we’ve got SOD.

Scott McLaughlin has left Edusport Academy:

Scott Mclaughlin

Football Player/ fitness coach at EDUSPORT ACADEMY LTD

4d

I’ve decided not to take up the offer of a new contract as player/coach at Edusport academy. Great year working with a lot of good people.

I’m still going to be playing somewhere and will see what offers come in.

Morgan’s a Rangers fan who played for St. Mirren and now plays for Celtic. That is not the definition of a “good lad”, fuck him.

Post of the year right there

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come
