I met Joe Caven at the Morton club one night and came across as a very nice gentleman who thought it a pleasure that fans still wanted to chat with him. If Celtic can do it with the 1967 squad then surely we can do it to ours, it is certainly an era that DDF is quite fond of, so invite them down for hospitality and get them out on the park.
I might need a few of the 'silver hair' Morton fans to help me out here but during the 1960s what was our most prolific season, giving that most of these players are in their elder years and it's 50 years it would be good to do a catch up (like the Stars of 79 but withou the fiasco).
He was hardly in! 32 months from Feb this year. Not unless he had been on remand which would have taken a bit, or he has appealed, day release even? Interesting.
Bear with me here.
Frank Sinclair has been named manager of Colwyn Bay. He replaced manager Lee Williams who was appointed to the job about 4 weeks ago. He had replaced Jon Newby who was sacked at the end of last year.

Was listening to BBC Radio Scotland yesterday and the mentioned Robbie Raeside. Seemingly as well as still playing football he is a cop and was on duty at the Dundee derby today, they had made some joke about him hopefully better behaved than the Hearts supporting cop who made a gesture to Hibs fans (in jest) at the game last week.
To be fair that was a joke on my part. I work with his missus and had made a comment about where he was currently playing, another poster, a colleague, joined in the joke (albeit a s***e one); should have rectified it then.
