Cappiecat 1.2
I'm glad he's not revealing what he's doing with Tidser, but reading between the lines he's not going to play him... I read between the same lines and subsequently think he will play Tidser.
port-ton
I took it to mean he is going to sacrifice Tidser to the gods on Friday night. TheGoon
I see Airdrie are going to a hybrid model of PT/FT players next season. Would it really be that bad?
Malt
I see Airdrie are going to a hybrid model of PT/FT players next season. Would it really be that bad? If you have any aspirations or ambition as a club to progress then yes. If you want to bounce between championship and league one, fill yer boots. Toby
If you have any aspirations or ambition as a club to progress then yes. If you want to bounce between championship and league one, fill yer boots. I’d look at it as a step backwards to go forward in the event of relegation, and certainly not a permanent solution. With the biggest gulf in prize money now being between the Championship and League One, it’s probably the happy medium if we do go down. Moan all we want about the running of the club but if we do go down, there will be cutbacks, we might as well be realistic and accept that. I just hope that those also include reductions in salaries or, even better, redundancies for certain senior executives

I can't remember who it was but I've heard interviews with players who played in teams like QOTS when they used to do this and they said there was issues with some guys being bored training every day in small groups and then other guys coming in two nights a week after work and the full time guys having to come in for that instead of day shifts, and they'd have no real time to work on things. That is us in the Airdrie like scenario and becoming a permanent fixture in the lower leagues and not making any progress. Firmly agree about pay cuts in event of relegation. Maybe even redundancy. Similar scenes tomorrow would be glorious. Still fucking infuriating that one. That goal and win was huge. Should have even went on to win the league after that rather than the shameful downing of tools.

vikingTON
I've got a feeling Tids will play and show the true professional he is. Seems that he’s got other plans instead. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-47987971?fbclid=IwAR0hEdE7LyCIGi-Bx_TTnvT7L1AGO7JIMYkZ0d11pfurFvFockYwQdjJnN8 The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
