irnbru
The Willow doesn't actually provide this menu in the pub though, as it understands that you still want a Tartan Special/Caledonian Best/spirit at the bar anyway. Next. It actually does. They have a shaker and everything.
K K Kelbie
It actually does. They have a shaker and everything. It actually doesn't, as Kyle is literally just back from said pub and confirms that you're talking pish. Next. K K Kelbie
It actually does so Kyle is wrong. Next. The menu isn't provided to the clientele - which is what you claimed - as Kyle's eye-witness visit last night confirms. Refer to the following guide for any other queries that you have regarding bin pubbery: If you need to ponder what type of drink you're going to order, it is not a proper Greenock watering hole. TRVMP
Well that's it settled, The Willow is up there with The Polo Lounge for mixological exclusivity. Just kidding - it's still a bin pub. Edited March 9, 2018 by TRVMP

The Willow is a cracking pub although the cocktails and new bar snacks menu takes it down a bit in my estimations.
K K Kelbie
They genuinely have a cocktail list on the wall now. Not quite as fine a list as Chaplins but they do have one! The chalkboard on the wall states that cocktails are available but goes into no detail. Keeping The Willow part of the 'your cocktail is a lager and lime' joke used by all bin pubs since 1972. K K Kelbie
Meanwhile some Internet sleuthing finds that the Cloch Bar apparently boasts a beer garden - a rare thing amid the urban sprawl of Greenock. Given its prime location and if set up properly, this could be the finest beer garden in Christendom. And there won't be much competition from the Muslim world either. Cocktail list next to the jukebox, cocktail shakers behind the bar, drinks with umbrellas. It's high class now.
vikingTON
Meanwhile some Internet sleuthing finds that the Cloch Bar apparently boasts a beer garden - a rare thing amid the urban sprawl of Greenock. Given its prime location and if set up properly, this could be the finest beer garden in Christendom. And there won't be much competition from the Muslim world either. Cafe Continental's supposed rooftop second tier expansion could become a serious contender for that title. Definitely not a bin - but more a pub than anything else IMO - with a distinctly checkered report book. Good - A well-kept and therefore glorious pint of Krusovice, from the country that invented and still owns all lager. Bad (Sad!) - High probability of absolute dickheads like Zhivago swanning around the bar to try and extract false and slanderous gossip from bit-part Morton flunkies to use against legends like Sir Gavin Gunning*. * An afficionado of the Wherry Tavern IMO. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
K K Kelbie
If you're reading this thread Gavin, your next two pints of heavy in the Wherry are on the Kelbie twins. Stick it on our tab.

Popular Post TRVMP
Unfortunately they turned me away at the door, private function. It turns out Ed was in takeover discussions with Ralph for the premises but went for the Empire State Building instead.
