Fans Q&A

Recommended Posts

You can get 70 in the Chairmans Lounge nae bother. Doesn't matter if it's 70 or 700 there is only so many questions that people will ask on certain topics. You go to these Q&As and some folk ask the same question over and over.

If it's minuted or better still live on Facebook, Periscope or Paltalk then the numbers attending is not such an issue. You could even ask a question that way if you have a half decent meeting moderator.

The Midden did their Q&As live when they were talking about the fans buyout and what that entailed. No reason why the club can't organise something the same for the Q&A.

Will you be doing this one again?

You’ve still not answered my question as to who you are.

Any plans to do so?

Thursday, 28th March.... 7pm...... Tin of Directors!

I heard about your friend Michael, formerly of the BP Garage. My condolences.

Hope this evening goes well, Warren 'Not a Charlatan, honest' Hawke's Chief Execing credentials are very much on the line. Crawford pulls the purse strings, but that hairline, not great but I'm jealous!

Has the Work-Geordie passed away?

Maybe Warren would be a good replacement. He has the same accent, the same haircut and will also have plenty of time on his hands when he gets emptied soon. He has a drone though.

From the SLO: (good work, btw)

‪Following the initial 70 places for the Q&A on the 28th being booked within a couple of hours, I have received an additional 40 requests for spots. With this in mind, I asked the club to consider moving to a bigger venue to allow as many fans as possible to attend. The club were extremely supportive of this and asked me to look at options. ‬

‪Greenock Town Hall was unavailable on the 28th but the good news is Gamble Halls is available and will be booked for the event. The booking form has been submitted to IL and I am just awaiting confirmation. ‬

‪Once this has been confirmed, I will add the 40 names who have emailed me requesting places to the list, before opening up the rest of the spots. The new capacity of the event will be 150.‬

‪In the meantime, if anyone else wants to email to guarantee a spot before the remaining ones go live publicly, please drop me an email at slo@gmfc.net.‬

‪Hopefully this is a solution that allows as many fans as possible to attend the event. Once the Gamble Halls’ booking is confirmed, I will be in touch with the original 70 attendees by email, and also those who have emailed me since.‬
