A family member was in a local supermarket yesterday and slipped n the wet floor which has resulted in their shoulder being dislocated and arm broken. I know a lot of these no win, no fee places are a con but is there any people in the Greenock area that we could reach out to and speak to? Has anyone ever had a similar incident? There is going to be months of rehab and a metal plate will need to be put in the shoulder so the person is limited to their weaker arm for months and there will also be a loss of earnings as they are self employed. I'd avoid using anyone local, go with one of the Glasgow or Edinburgh law firms which specialise in personal injury litigation. If cash-flow is going to be a real problem (and they can't afford to play the long-game) then they may better avoiding the really big law practices, but still go to a PI specialist lawyer. So did this supermarket put a deliberate slip hazard into their store ? No I don't think so, do they have cleaners employed to clean up spills, yes they do. So they have fulfilled their duties to the health and safety regulations. Not having a clue ? well i'm not going to post my C.V. on here but behavioral safety is one of my specialties, as is laughing at religious folk who advocate child rape.
