Much grittier and rougher than any other Star Wars movie. So many clever little easter eggs as well. Need to see it again to be sure but possibly best movie in the series. The scene on Scariff beach was amazing, a mix between WW2 D-day and Vietnam era jungle fight. Whole cast was brilliant especially Donny Yen, would love to see his back story (although possibly better to keep the mystery). No annoying droids - K-2SO was superb. I know what you mean about the cgi at the end but I'm willing to let it slide. Thought tarkin was done well.
