119 guests reading, I see. *waves to Falkirk fans*

This way he’s not playing against us for Dundee or Partick next season, so fine. He’ll obviously waltz that league and should probably bring them back up by himself, but if they’re signing that diddy Buchanan as well that’ll be a big step to cancelling out his quality.

As for us, I’m okay with Muirhead. He obviously flopped at Dunfermline but every signing we make is going to be a risk, and a player whose reputation has collapsed but is still young enough to turn his career around is a much smaller one than flooding the squad wth English free agents, for all that we may pick up some hidden gems that way. At least Hopkin knows exactly how he wants to use him rather than signing a player for the sake of it without a clue what their best position is.

Oh Lord, Brian Wake

It really does show a lack of ambition from Tidser by dropping a division at this stage of his career when there are realistic options for him to be helping a team towards top flight football. Couldn’t care less that he’s went to Falkirk cos at the end of the day if he’s not with us he’s against us regardless what team he turns out for. Must say I would find it even more hilarious if they fail in their quest to return to the Championship with a number of our ex players in the squad though!

We dunno how realistic it is, we don't know what offers he got and how much they were worth.

He went to England, it didn't work out, now I guess he's less worried about ambition and more about his family, which is fair enough.

Obviously I hope he has an absolutely miserable time.

Any ambition at his age will be overtaken by wanting to look out for his family financially.

Fuck Tidser, but who wouldn’t take the deal with the most money on offer?

Anyone with either i) any ambition left in their career or ii) a tiny morsel of self-respect. No surprise to see a totally shameless mercenary reverting to type in the end. East Stirling and Kelty will no doubt be kicking themselves that they couldn't swoop to take him to the Lowland League instead. Give it another two years.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Who are of course currently running around in tattery, tear-drenched rags after a mere decade of making a handsome living both in Scotland and south of the border. From a job that requires so little time and effort that he has also managed to set up a different business on the side.

For some reason I'm not looking out the violin for this one.

Dropping to League One and to Falkirk in their present state and with The Snake in charge seems like a bit of a gamble even if he is on silly money.

He's gone, we move on.

No we don't. Never forgive. Never forget.

I'd rather Tidser wasn't playing against us so if he's been given considerably more money by Falkirk then good luck to him. It's a short career and he doesn't owe us any loyalty because of a pantomime situation between both clubs last season.

Fuck right off.

Morton did nothing wrong in this "pantomime" and were the wronged party in the three-way dispute with GMFC, Falkirk, and the management team. Whether or not Tidser owes us any loyalty is another matter, but you're so desperate to be liked by footballers that you're just making stuff up.

That's Port-Ton well and truly called out for being the attention-seeking fanny that he is. Nice one Trvmp.

Fuck Tidser. He's made his bed and can lie in it. As far as I'm concerned he's a rat cunt like McKinnon and Taylor

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come
