Morton - Arbroath (Saturday 7 March)

Aye that was a shambles. Should have been a like for like replacement with Lyon for Colville to keep the same shape. Nothing came off for Muirhead and it was quite incredible to see him move to holding mid where he was absolutely useless.

Another cheap cheap goal to concede and the centre back pairing needs to be upgraded in the Summer. If Hopkin plans on keeping both of them as starting centre backs, we can forget a playoff challenge next season. The boy O'brien was head and shoulders above both of them. We need better.

Need Mchugh back in next week too

Credit to them for getting the equaliser and it's good to see us scoring in injury time for a change. We have been decent lately but that was the worst we have played since the Thistle game. Hopefully a one off and we can win next week against DU who's form has fell of a cliff ( 1 win in 7) and are stumbling over the line.

Muirhead could well have put in the worst performance ever seen in a Morton shirt today. Hardly moved out the centre circle in his 25 second half mins. Horrible stuff from every player today. Are the players told to just kick ball the way that they are facing??

Don't think Strapp was particularly good either. He got caught under the ball a few times and was caught out of position more than most.

I don't think anyone will dispute Arbroath looking decent but the problem was us being so bad.

I thought it looked like Arbroath were throwing everything down the right hand side to pin Cadden back and Strapp dealt pretty well with it. Nesbitt had acres of space on the right for a lot of the game and (as he too often does) hid from the ball a bit.

Nonsense.

How the fk did Muirhead make it back out for the second half today fkn rotten to the core he's not alone today but by fk he was shite. If that was trying to stake a claim for starting place or winning a new contract he can report to the Clyde with that shit show.

We absolutely stole a point which is pleasing as dick Campbell is a horrible cunt.

I agree with celebrations at the goal but why the fuck are fans clapping like seals at the end as if we had won they should have been booed off after that shit show.

That was grim all round today especially McGinty and Muirhead, one was a liability one was a passenger but nobody really came out of the game with any credit. I do think that Baird will be just fine next season with a decent partner, just a question of who!? Unfortunately a Gunning looks out of our price range at the moment.

We agreed a contract with Gunning, if anything he’ll be even easier fo afford if he’s still without a club come the summer.

Err no the only reason Gunning was even talking to us is because he's actually ineligible to play for anybody right now and he was desperate for a contract any contract and thought we'd be prepared to give him one to sit in the stand until he's able to play, once he is eligible to play again he'll be whoring himself to the highest bidder once again and guess what - that won't be us.

Enter Tam O'Ware ;)

The same Tam O'Ware that is guiding Partick to relegation, who had one decent season with us that was mainly because he was able to get on the end of Ross Forbes delivery and whose idea of defensive leadership is to point and blame others for his own mistakes!? Err naw, we've already tried to outdo Partick with shite cast offs once this season let's not try it again. Both Arbroaths centre backs today would be an improvement but I doubt they would go full time and relocate for an extra £50 a week

The Arbroath CB O'brien strolled it, looks class everytime Ive seen him.
