I know I go on about it, but it’s so glaringly obvious....

Morton play far better football when Chris Millar isn’t on. Check our recent wins, or think back to the best performances we’ve had since January... there’s a common denominator. Today another example....

Today was our third win in 2019. Millar played the full 90 minutes v Ross County, and came off the bench after 61 minutes when it was still 0-0 v Queen of the South.

Last three occasions we’ve scored more than 1 goal in a game? Top three performances this calendar year? From what I’ve seen anyway (Thistle, ICT midweek and today)... which midfield regular didn’t start?

Obviously Millar has some good attributes, but he kills the speed of any attack that goes near him. He has been doing it all season, been driving me mad all season!

Anyway, a great day for Morton... think we’ll be fine now. Dundee Utd are bound to play pretty much a reserve side in the last game of the season, points will be there for the taking if we need them.

The defending for that 2nd goal.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Greg Kiltie is a player. If we can't hold onto him, hopefully he can make the breakthrough at Killie. Would much rather see him playing for Steve Clarke than a team in this division.

Also, I've seen Falkirk fans on P&B talking about a penalty shout. Is that when Jim got beat at the edge of the box and then Buchanan (I think) won the corner? Because with 'Ton-tinted specs firmly to one side, I really, really don't see it.

Your very first suggestion was to check our recent wins. If you check our 2019 wins you see Millar featured in all of them.

As for our best performances in 2019... we’ve played Partick Thistle once in 2019 and got scudded 3-0. If you’re thinking of the 2-1 win at Firhill on 30 December, Millar played 90 minutes in that too.
