The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Yep, with the redistribution of wealth when the SPFL came into being there really should’ve been no need for parachute payments (not that there was a need for them in the first place). The pair of them have been the weakest links in our back line for weeks. Your love-in with Kilday is noted but since he returned from injury he has shown nothing to suggest he should be in the starting line-up. That doesn't make him the same player that he was prior to his injuries or a must-keep asset in the squad - he's neither - but it does make the suggestion of pairing Waddell and Buchanan together right now absolutely laughable. it's clear that many members of the fanbase made their mind up about Kilday a long time ago. The actual performances of our first team defenders are irrelevant compared to their irrational seethe about him. dunning1874 Posted January 22, 2019 Share Posted January 22, 2019 Yeah, Kilday’s clearly a poorer player since his injury and barring a significant improvement over the remainder of the season I’d be letting him go in the summer, but over the last month or so Buchanan and Waddell have both been comfortably worse than him.
