Morton v Inverness Th

Well enthusium must be at all time low with no thread for Sat game.

What are the issues.

Is this the end of our home undefeated run?

Who will we play in goal?

Will Reece L play in the central mid field position?

What's the real story on Blue?

While Sutton has done his bit up front the highland hoffers will be too big for him and a ground attack surely must be the strategy.

Any thoughts to pass on to hoppy.

Same as ToM. Don't care, not going.

First game of the season for me tomorrow and expecting the worst

Really enjoyed the last few evening games at the end of last season when we played some good stuff

We are heading for relegation unless we bump Hopkin who is obviously clueless

Probably not going either. Don't expr2mucj if a crowd.

Don’t expr2mucj a result either.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

I'm torn between the loyalty, team need the support, club need the money, all part of being a Morton fan card against the football will be feckin awful, team selection will be a shambles and we will prob get beat card...

Tough choice but I'll probably be there.

Nah, can’t get motivated to watch Morton at all. Some evidence of improvement needed before I’ll be back to Cappielow.

Sad days when I’m going to watch rugby at 3pm on a Saturday, rather going to watch Morton! It’s free, can stroll in at 2.59pm, can have a beer at the side of the pitch... and has been way more entertaining than going to Cappielow in recent months.

How many times have you copy and pasted this over the years?

Pretty depressing to read so many fans are chucking it. I know it may be easy for me to say, but are you lads not throwing in the towel a bit too soon? Granted the season so far has been underwhelming to say the least, but with the league as tight as it is, anything can still happen.

I watched some truly dreadful Morton teams over the years, I strongly suspect worse than we have now, but the thought of chucking it never entered my head. I may have struggled to muster up much enthusiasm at times, but I still went whenever I could. Not a criticism of anyone, you're of course perfectly within your right to spend your hard-earned dosh as you wish, but it's very sad and worrying that this could just be the start of a terminal decline to perma-diddyleaguedome or even worse. And as the wise prophet Joni Mitchell once said, you don't know what you've got till it's gone.
