AyrshireTon
http://gmfc.net/2016/11/02/details-confirmed-for-scottish-cup-tie-against-beith/ It's pay at the gate. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. Alibi
We should be setting out to break the record score for a Scottish Cup tie. Not sure if it is Stirling's 20-0 or Arbroath's 36-0, but there should be no let up for 90 minutes. That way we should get through 1-0 or maybe 2-1. No half measures and no slacking off if we get to 5. "Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it." vikingTON
some of the juniors think its martial arts contest rather than a football match. You do not need to have the ball in ayrshire junior football to get whacked. I was at a match in Beith's division this season and it was no more physical than a senior match. The hyperventilating about big, bad Junior hatchetmen is entirely wide of the mark - for their top tier of the game at least. It's stacked full of failed senior league players and local bumpkins - that's it. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Shame game odds slashed from 3/1 to evens. Over 1.5 police horses on the park now at 5/2. vikingTON
Paul O'Neill, a gormless loser last seen as "assistant referee 2" in that match v Ayr at the end of last month, is running the line as well. Not sure whether he was the reptile on the Cowshed side, but who needs pinpoint accuracy when there's a shame game to be had. Get him hounded as well. TaunTon
I'd be very surprised if Duffy approached this game as a walk in the park after his Spartan experience. We are a long way from being entitled to assume walkovers particularly against a team that will be bursting a gut to be local heroes.

BouncyMan1
You will never guess who the referee is for this one....John McKendrick Hopefully if there is any hammer throwing then they are chucked in that clowns direction. we should win of course BUT this is concerning or worrying (slightly). Even on fitness alone, this git should never be a referee as he is overweight and is miles behind play.........not fogetting his biased refereeing. Watched the Alloa v Falkirk on Alba last season and was barely on halfway line where ball is around penalty area when someone has a breakaway; also he sent the alloa player to get his head knock sorted twice so that falkirk had further chances against 10 men. He has a real chip on both shoulders in life as well as football.

Stevie Aitken's Love Child
I noticed on twitter yesterday that Beith were looking for volunteers to remove pitch covers on Friday evening. Any chance of this one maybe being postponed, with freezing conditions expected over the next couple of nights?
vikingTON
Of course there's a chance: that's why they are putting covers down in the first place.
