Toby
The Lamie-Gunning dream team is looking like a goer. More likely the Lamie-Gallagher dream team at Motherwell I'd imagine.

Popular Post Stevie Aitken's Love Child
More likely the Lamie-Gallagher dream team at Motherwell I'd imagine.I was of course jesting, Lamie is comfortably Premiership level. Funny comparing his career to a certain Thomas O'Ware. Lamie has worked his arse off to get to that level, with nothing but thanks to Morton for his time here. O'Ware, on the other hand, is about to piss about in League 1 after leaving for a 'new challenge' and crowing to anyone who would listen about how he had wanted to leave us sooner. What a shame. O'Ware, on the other hand, is about to piss about in League 1 after leaving for a 'new challenge' and crowing to anyone who would listen about how he had wanted to leave us sooner. What a shame. It’s not so much the player that I find it a reflection on, but the fans. Yes, Livingston had just been promoted, but like Partick are still our peers, in spite of a temporary separation. If our fans were the wankers that we’re often made out to be, then there’s no reason why Lamie would be wished well at all on his departure. Instead though, whilst disappointed he left, he went with our best wishes and fond memories. It’s almost as if we appreciate guys that get the head down, do a good job, prove doubters wrong and move on. Contrast that with a guy who, whilst an integral part of our team, screamed at his team mates regularly after conceding, admitted to not really being arsed for the final year of his contract and baited us on social media after his successes against us and isn’t so well received. It couldn’t be that Lamie is in fact a smashing bloke, O’Ware’s an utter wank, and we don’t suffer fools gladly, could it?
Alibi
Big Lamie's a civil engineer so he's sound. O'Ware's more of a wannabe Del Boy. It all makes sense. "Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it." Toby
Rikki Lamie signs for Motherwell. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
Scott
Delighted for him. Amazing to think how well he’s done after his first few appearances for us in League 1.
TRVMP
Delighted for him. Amazing to think how well he’s done after his first few appearances for us in League 1. I thought he was an absolute dud at first. Seems like a good guy so I'm very happy to be proved wrong. He's only 26 as well, could have a good few years in the top flight ahead of him. Should also give Duffy some credit for spotting a player, even if he was wasted at left-back for a while. Edited June 10, 2020 by TRVMP
Jamie_M
Come a long way from the raw left back at Airdrie that Weatherson wound up enough that he went and got himself sent off retaliating. Underwhelming signing when the above was most of our only knowledge of him but proved us all wrong and was a good player for us and seems a thoroughly decent guy. Fair fucks to him for continuing to improve and progress, deserves it. Not many who leave us will get the same level of good wishes. In other news, while Lamie will be digging out the sun tan lotion for a possible jaunt into Europe, Tam O'Ware is heading to a whole different seaside. Hej
Very good move for Sir Richard. Could he, dare I say it, sneak into a couple of Scotland squads somewhere down the line?
TRVMP
Very good move for Sir Richard. Could he, dare I say it, sneak into a couple of Scotland squads somewhere down the line? I was just thinking that. Stranger things have happened, especially in the middle of the back line. Gordon Greer didn't make his Scotland debut until he was in his 30s. More recently there's been guys like Stephen O'Donnell and Declan Gallagher breaking through pretty late in the day. Granted you wouldn't want them being first choice at a major tournament, but for qualifiers and as squad players, Lamie could progress and put himself amongst them. mcintyre_gmfc
We definitely have better options, but if injuries come up again - which they will - then stranger things have happened. The big mans came on leaps and bounds from being out his depth at left back.
